Our small, privately owned company is a registered business with the State of Washington where we have been involved with online buying and selling for over 10 years. We have successfully implemented consignment arrangements with 4 local Seattle stores and have done similar agreements with a handful of private parties in the greater Seattle area.
Depending on your location, we can either pick up your books or meet in a mutually convenient location for pick-up. Once we determine which books are of interest, we would provide you with a simple consignment agreement for the resale of your books. You can expect a resale value somewhere between what a bookstore would offer and what you might be able to sell them for on the open market. The obvious benefit is that you no longer have the hassle of selling, meeting people to complete the transaction and/or pack and ship individual books. We will provide you with a detailed report of your inventory and sales activity. For a retail store, the revenue split is 50% - 50%; for private individuals, the revenue split would be 60% - 40%, in favor of the individual.
We cover all shipping charges and packaging costs to the end customer. At mutually determined intervals, we can disperse funds to you via PayPal, company check or you can pick-up cash directly from us.
Books of interest are generally nonfiction and might be in the categories/genres of:
· Current Edition Text Books
· Psychology & Psychiatry
· Engineering, Science, Math
· Religious, Spiritual, Study Bibles, etc.
· Technology
· Business, Investing, Finance
For smaller quantities, please email ISBN numbers (a 10 or 13 digit number generally found above the barcode on back of book) to service@cellarofbooks.com and we will send you a reply with potential profit from your sales. For larger quantities, please call to discuss.
